NWAA Labs Construction Pictures

This group of pictures show the rooms in the nuclear plant that were the main control rooms for the reactor. The holes in the floors were where the control cabling and wiring came up into the control consoles from everywhere in the reactor area. These holes were open to the floor below with a drop in each one of 27 ft and were very dangerous and had to be filled later. The white cage in the middle of the room was the shift supervisors office and the openings that had a shape that looked semi-circular was the main console. For those who watch the "Simpsons, this is where Homer would have sat. The thin walls in this facility are "only" 1 ft thick."
