After the cutting was finished we had to fill all of the holes in the floor with rebar and a "floor" to hold the one foot of concrete filling them. We also had to pour a cap of three inches of concrete in the "source" room since the holes were raised 1 inch from the plane of the floor. We intend to use the source room as a reverberation chamber to measure "Absorption Coefficents" and "Scattering Coefficients" so the floor had to be flat for the turntable to be able to turn correctly.
